Opening hours

Demo Forest is open on 28 and 29 July 2026 from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm. Admission is possible until 6:00 p.m. at the latest.


Demonstrations in the forest and on the plots begin each day at 9:30 a.m. and continue continuously until the end of the day.

Access

By train

The nearest station is Bertrix, located on the Brussels–Luxembourg line. Trains depart hourly from Brussels-Midi and Luxembourg-Ville. A free TEC shuttle service runs between Bertrix station and the Demo Forest site (main entrance – Route de Cugnon). Shuttles run every 15 minutes from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Plan my train journey: https://www.belgiantrain.be

En voiture

From Brussels / Namur: E411 towards Luxembourg → exit 25bis Libramont-Recogne, then follow Bertrix / Paliseul / Cugnon.
From Liège: E25 towards Bastogne → E411 towards Brussels → exit 26 Libramont-Recogne, then follow signs for Bertrix.


From the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: E411 towards Brussels → exit 25bis Libramont-Recogne, then follow the signs Demo Forest.

Parkings

Free car parks and signposted car parks are available nearby close to the site.

Free TEC shuttle buses run between the park-and-ride car parks and the entrance to Demo Forest. Frequency: every 10 minutes between 8.30 a.m. and 8 p.m.

PMR

The demonstration route is approximately 5 km long. Although the paths are “vehicle-accessible” (suitable for vehicles), their stony nature could present difficulties for certain types of wheelchairs or mobility aids.
