Konrad Forsttechnik GmbH is a family-run company that was founded in 1990 by Josef Konrad. In 2015, the company was handed over to his son Markus Konrad. At the company's location in Preitenegg, wood harvesting machines for extremely steep slopes and difficult terrain are developed, produced and marketed. With an R&D quota of around 6% of sales, Konrad Forsttechnik has become the global technology and market leader in the wood harvesting segment in the cable crane sector and produces around two thirds for export. The KONRAD Forsttechnik team consists of around 140 employees, including more than 30 apprentices!

"NEW" KDH 40 Multi:
The new Multi telescopic boom makes the KDH even more versatile. This moves it from being a pure thinning harvester to a compact machine that is also suitable for municipal tasks. It is possible to attach various interchangeable devices, such as mulchers, felling grapples, slope rakes, and much more. The devices are exchanged using a quick-change system.
